With a three-fold increase in advertising traffic in the last 12 months, MC-Tooling’s advertiser Adrian Byrne of Lista UK commented “We are getting an even bigger bang for our buck”.
MC-Tooling’s latest statistics make for interesting reading. With thousands of pages of current adverts, editorial content, technical guidance and product specifications our readers are spending on average 26 minutes reading our content.
When was the last time you spent 26 minutes reading about something you weren’t interested in?
What is even more surprising is that MC-Tooling isn’t yet another trade magazine that you feel obliged to subscribe to but no-one in the office actually reads, it’s one of the fastest growing internet sites: www.mctooling.com
However, MC-Tooling doesn’t just make-up numbers about unique site hits, traffic rankings etc. MC-Tooling uses Amazon’s ‘Alexa’, which is an independent online service that measures traffic for millions of sites on the Internet in a similar way to Nielsen television show ratings.
Therefore it’s Alexa, not MC-Tooling which states that the global traffic ranking for MC-Tooling is 522,075 visitors, which puts it in the top 1.68 % of all the websites on the internet.
How many trade magazines are independently checked to see if they even have been read by their subscribers?
This also means that out of all the millions of UK based websites MC-Tooling is ranked 15,075th , which is impressive when you consider the BBC is only ranked 7th and MC-Tooling has only been operating for just over 2 years.
Alexa also confirm that over 80% of MC-Tooling’s traffic comes from the UK and 70% of visitors view an average of 24 unique pages per day.
To top all of this off there have been over 767,470 recorded viewings of the adverts and videos listed in the last 12 months.
When was the last time you called a company after seeing a printed advert in a magazine? Compare that to when you last found a product or service on the internet!
Unlike trade publications, which are out of date as soon as they are printed, you can have access to your adverts, videos and editorial content to monitor your results or edit their content 24/7. If you have breaking news, you can break it with MC-Tooling!
How much does all of this superb coverage on MC-Tooling.com cost?
From just £250, which admit it, is less than you thought and much less than your normal one-off magazine advert cost.

I am not really sure if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your great job is clearly identified. I was wondering if you offer any subscription to your RSS feeds as I would be very interested and can?t find any link to subscribe here.
great resources here. I’ll be back for the next your posting. keep writing and happy blogging.
Hey – nice blog, just looking around some blogs, seems a pretty nice platform you are using. I’m currently using WordPress for a few of my sites but looking to change one of them over to a platform similar to yours as a trial run. Anything in particular you would recommend about it?
I am just using the free wordpress blog software on my hosted server, using my own artwork for site banner.
I use to host my blog via wordpress.com, but never had any where near the same level of interest/responses, so I decided to move it over to my server.
The blog was really easy to set up, apart from that I am still not got my RSS feed working.
I know this isn’t exactly on topic, but I have a blog using the blogengine platform and I’m having problems with my comments displaying. Is there a setting I am forgetting? Maybe you could help me out? Thanks!
I recommend that you host your own blog, rather than using a blog platform, because you will end up regretting not doing it, like I did!
Thank God! Somonee with brains speaks!
